BBC Introducing's The Session Introducing is a show dedicated to the local band scene and has just launched a new live music night at Bar Four in Reading. Come along every Wednesday. Find out below how you could be a part of the line-up.

BBC Radio Berkshire's The Session Introducing has been at the forefront of covering the local music scene for the last two years. Now, we're taking it a step further...The show will no longer just be heard floating on the airwaves, each week, BBC Introducing Shout About Music will be providing a varied array of new and breaking acts from the local & national scene.

Bands who've entered The Session's demo panel (BBC Berkshire Radio - Sunday 7pm 104.4FM, 104.1FM, 95.4FM, 94.6FM) are all put into the pot for possible selection. We'll then record their gig and play a song or two from their live set on the show the following Sunday.
